go dancing on the ceiling, put my headache on the floor
I lie here under small lights
watching patterns dancing behind my lids
feeling my skull crush inwards
inwards
as it tries to rid itself of you
(again.)
It's never just you
you always go in pairs that never include me
our numbers just don't add up
and that just can't work for us.
I try to reconcile two different feelings

are two different chemical reactions
we just don't work out
